Top 5 Trench Coats for Your Wardrobe this Season

February 2, 2024

How many Trench coats have you already seen this year, whether it be online or instore? I’ve been taking a browse and have found you the ones I like the best.

The Trench coat was typically worn as a windbreaker, not to keep you warm which is why it’s a great layering item or between the seasons.

Why is the Trench coat Trending?

The Trench is a classic reborn, the item has become a wardrobe stable over the years mainly because of the tone and how easy it is to wear. With mainly the base neutral colour it’s become a super, stylish item that goes with just about everything in your wardrobe, making it a ‘must have’.

Can all women wear a Trench?

This is a question I get asked a lot and, yes, all women can wear a Trench ( if you like them ) but each one of us will choose the style & colour we like the most & the one that flatters us the best. Think of the colour, would you prefer a stone tone or do you fancy a navy or black? Which fabric would you like, cotton, wool, leather a do you want a single or double breasted one.

The ask yourself the question, do I prefer the belt tied to the front, side or back, tied to the front will draw the eye to the tummy, to the back draws you in at the waist and the side elongate.

Are You Wondering What’s Your Body Shape?

Once you identify your body type, whether it is apple-shaped, pear-shaped, or hourglass-shaped, you can choose the most flattering clothing. Many of us have looked in the mirror and tried to determine our body shape, but what we see in the mirror is a different shape than what we really are.

Do you look in the mirror and dislike what you are wearing? Is your wardrobe full of clothes that you never wear or that you don’t know how to wear?

I strongly believe that your wardrobe should reflect your personality, lifestyle, and body shape. Every day, I speak with full-time mothers, busy executives, and everybody has the same complaint: that they hate what they see in the mirror, and that they don’t know what to wear anymore that’s flattering.
